On the day of December 4th, 2022, the social welfare club of IMI Kolkata, Altruist, organised a cleanliness drive campaign, which was held at Majherhat Railway Station, Kolkata. This was different from the regular classes, and the student had a good time. This initiative by the students of IMI Kolkata exemplifies that humanity's problem cannot be solved by fighting, but only by working together. The drive was initiated by Dr Sachin Modgil, Associate Professor (Operations and Supply Chain), IMI Kolkata for bringing forth this social welfare for a good cause, and the Station Master of Majherhat Railway Station for his cooperation in executing this cleanliness drive.

XAT 2023 is a popular exam conducted for MBA/PGDM admissions. XLRI conducts tests on behalf of the XAMI. This year XAT 2023 will be conducted on Sunday, January 08, 2023. XLRI has decided to make changes in exam timings. XAT 2023 exam timing stands changed from morning to afternoon. The XAT 2023 will be conducted from 2.00 PM to 5.10 PM instead of 9.30 AM to 12.40 PM, although the XAT 2023 exam duration of 3 hours and 10 minutes remains the same.
