Faculty,Infrastructure,Connectivity and Availability are some plus points, while the few cons could be Mess Food and lack of proper Sport Facilities. Overall, these is a very good option for Tech Enthusiasts if you want a college having good alumini, coding culture and diversified college life
Placement: Placement wise too,IIIT K is not that far from some Lower NITs and Mid Tier IIITs . Though,it is out of competition against Top tier NITs and IIITs,we can still expect IIITK to be in that tier by next 5-7 years due to its potential and blooming alumini. Gives an average of 14.7 lpa in 2022 placement cell with almost a 100% placement rate

Faculty: Faculty is however a wonderful pros for this college. Bloomed with good teaching staffs,HODs,Faculty’s Advisers and T.A, it is somewhat a good positive thing for students here. Plus even if the teachers are somewhat South-India based,it won’t be very tough for students from other parts of India to connect with them
Hostel: Though the hostel facility can’t be considered as the best compared to other college due to the unavailability of hostels for accommodation of all the 4 year students, still the hostels are a decent ones with 2 seater,3 seater and 4 seaters lodging layout
