SLAT does not release official ranks, so students can predict the expected ranks based on previous cutoffs, the difficulty level of SLAT 2026 and the performance trend of students over the years. The expected rank for 40 marks in SLAT 2026 will be around 400 to 900. Having an understanding of the marks will help test-takers analyse their possible rank. Among the four Symbiosis law schools, students having a very good score in SLAT 2026 are eligible for SLS Pune. 

A candidate scoring 50 marks in SLAT 2026 will likely be scoring in a high percentile band and AIR 300-800, typically for most of the top Symbiosis Law School (SLS) campuses, provided that the difficulty and competition are similar to those in recent years. Symbiosis does not publish an official all-India rank list for SLAT; thus, the expected rank is determined by approximating previous year cut-offs, good-score ranges, and average seat availability at each of the following colleges: SLS Pune, Noida, Hyderabad, and Nagpur.​

Good Score in SLAT 2026: SLAT 2026 is being organised on two dates – December 20 and December 28, 2025 – with Test 1 already conducted in a generally easy to moderate difficulty range. Based on the Slot 1 analysis, a good overall score in SLAT 2026 is expected around 48–55 out of 60 for top Symbiosis Law Schools, with 50–55 likely to be competitive for SLS Pune, 48–52 for SLS Noida, and the high‑40s band remaining strong for SLS Hyderabad and SLS Nagpur, subject to Test 2 difficulty and overall competition.

Interested candidates can apply for the LLB (Honours in Intellectual Property Law), LLM and Master’s in Public Policy, Law and Governance (MPPLG) from the official portals of IIT Kharagpur.
