The NMAT 2025‑26 cutoff for MBA differs by section and by the college you’re targeting, showing how competitive the exam is. While GMAC doesn’t publish official sectional cutoffs, experts advise aiming for a balanced score across Language, Quantitative, and Logical Reasoning. The Language Skills section should be targeted at 70‑75 marks to demonstrate solid comprehension and verbal reasoning. For Quantitative Skills, which is usually the toughest part, aim for 72‑78 marks to handle the heavy calculations. In Logical Reasoning, a score of 68‑75 marks is advisable to show strong analytical thinking and pattern‑recognition abilities.

IIMA Launches Two-Year Blended MBA in Business Analytics & AI: The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has announced a new two-year blended mode MBA programme in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, designed for mid-career executives and working professionals. The program is designed to build executives who can use data, analytics, and AI for strategic business decisions. Unlike a normal full-time MBA, this course is a blended mode programme consisting of online live sessions along with the mandatory on-campus visits at IIM Ahmedabad.

NMAT 2025 Question Paper for Day 1, held on November 5, was perceived by most test‑takers as a moderately challenging exam. The Quantitative part was the toughest; it had a lot of number‑crunching problems that needed quick mental math and a good understanding of algebra, geometry, and data tables. The Logical Reasoning (or Critical Reasoning) section had longer passages, which made it harder to finish on time. The Verbal Ability section was more balanced, mixing reading comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary at a moderate level. In short, the paper was a step up from the normal NMAT pattern: the math pushed many candidates, the reasoning required careful reading, and the verbal part gave a fair chance to score.
