IIM Joint Admission Process (JAP) 2026: Dates, Eligibility, Registration, Participating Institutes

The Indian Institutes of Management, Kashipur, Raipur, Ranchi, and Tiruchirappalli have officially announced that the selection process for their flagship management programs, currently offered through CAT 2025, will be based on the new IIM Joint Admission Process (JAP) 2026. Similar to the IIM Common Admission Process, the IIM JAP 2026 will consider factors like CAT percentile, academic performance, work experience, and diversity considerations. However, the key difference between IIM CAP and IIM JAP is that students will be required to appear for only one common Personal Interview for all JAP participating institutions instead of separate interviews for different IIMs. Additionally, IIM JAP 2026 will not conduct any WAT, Group Discussion or Extempore assessments. IIM JAP 2026 will be organised by IIM Raipur for all four participating institutes.
