In JBIT, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) has been at the forefront of producing highly skilled software engineers. Computer engineers receive intense training in software design, hardware-software integration, and electronics engineering. The work is done on both the hardware and software side of computing, designing circuits as well as individual microprocessors, personal computers, and supercomputers. The JB Institute of Technology Dehradun campus offers facilities like a programming lab, R&D lab, web technology lab, multimedia lab and a computer centre for the CSE students.
