What is the MBBS Admission Process for Foreign Nationals
December 16, 2025 3:11 PM

What is the MBBS Admission Process for Foreign Nationals?

As an international student seeking MBBS admission in India, you have made a very sensible decision, for Indian medical colleges give quality education at much more affordable rates in comparison to Western countries. The admission procedure for foreign nationals is completely different from the one being followed for Indian students, since, in most cases, you need not appear for NEET.
However, you have to fulfil certain eligibility requirements laid down by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and individual colleges. Foreign students can apply directly to deemed universities and private medical colleges, while some seats under the NRI quota are also available in government institutions. The acceptance procedure consists of document verification, eligibility verification, securing the admission letter, and then applying for the student visa to come to India.

Dear Student,

Getting a seat in the Kakasaheb Mhaske Homoeopathic Medical College, Ahmednagar, with 94 marks in the NEET exam is quite unlikely. The BHMS NEET cutoff for general category students ranges from 686 to 144 marks, while the reserved category students' score ranges from 143 to 113 marks. Therefore, a score of 94 marks in the NEET exam will not help the student to get a seat in the BHMS course offered by government or private colleges across the country.

Thank you!

Dear Student,

With a score of 137 marks in the NEET exam 2025, taking admission to the Kakasahed Mhaske Homeopathic Medical College is slightly difficult. The overall cutoff rank for SC Category students for Maharashtra NEET counselling ranges between 594835 - 631098. BHMS was the most preferred course for SC candidates in 2025, with the lowest rank of 631098.

Thank you!
