On March 22, 2024 Kingston Law College held the Kingston Law Conclave 2024. The event was conducted to bridge the gap between legal education and professional practice by training the students with the required skills to become effective advocates. The event was focused on three pivotal themes: Litigation Skills and Courtroom Advocacy, Corporate Law and Commercial Practice, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Mediation. Every theme held a discussion on the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in transforming and disrupting the above-said areas and endeavoured to prepare the students to navigate and leverage technological advancements in their future careers. The session also discussed the possibility of the usage of AI in mediation and arbitration for case management, predicting outcomes, and enhancing dispute resolution processes. The primary objective of the conclave was to equip law students with the necessary skills and knowledge required for practical advocacy, corporate law, ADR, and the potential threats of AI in the above-said areas.
The Litigation Skills and Courtroom Advocacy session was led by litigators, judges and trial lawyers including Advocate Achin Jana, Advocate Sarmishtha Ganguly, Advocate Debasish Sarkar, Advocate Subhajit Bal and Advocate Suman Srivastava, followed by Corporate Law and Commercial Practice session, led by Dr Udhav Sambhaji Waghmare, Mr Rajarshi Maity, Mr Rakesh Samantaray and the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Mediation session was led by Advocate Prodyut Banerjee, Adv. Debasish Sarkar and Retired District Judge of Murshidabad, Mr Indranil Adhikary.

AMU BA LLB 2026: The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has announced the dates for the AMU BA LLB Admission 2026, and applications are invited for the five-year integrated law course. The online registration process for the eligible candidates has started from February 1, 2026, and applications can be submitted through the official website amucontrollerexams.com. RMLAU LLB admit card 2026 has been released by Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya for odd semesters- 1st, 3rd and 5th.
