BE Admission Eligibility

The MITK offers 4-year Bachelor's degree programmes with the following branches -

• Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
• Civil Engineering
• Computer Science & Engineering
• Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering

Qualification

Candidate should have passed Karnataka State second year PUC (10+2) or equivalent exam with Physics. Math along with Chemistry and Biotechnology/Biology as the chosen subjects with English as one of the languages of study and have gotten at least 45% marks in total in optional subjects, regardless of the marks acquired in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test. In the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and other backward classes (Category - 1, 2k 2B, 3A and 3B). The base marks with the end goal of qualification will be 40% of marks in total in the optional subjects in the passing/qualifying exam.

LATERAL ENTRY

The students who have completed a 3-year diploma in Karnataka with at least 45% marks are qualified for entry to the third semester through Karnataka Common Entrance Test.

MBA Admission Eligibility

Master of Business Administration (MBA) is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and recognized by the Government of Karnataka.

• Dual Specialization

Qualification:

• Graduate in any discipline with 50% marks (45% marks if any candidate is belonging to the category of SC, ST and Category I).
• Students who want to acquire Government Quota seats should appear for the PGCET.
• The students who wish to acquire Management Quota seats should appear for any of the following KMAT/MAT/CAT/PGCET.
