CLAT 2026 NALSAR Hyderabad: With the rank of 1000 in CLAT 2026, getting a seat in NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, in Round 1 counselling depends largely of candidate’s category. NALSAR is ranked as one of the best among the NLUs in India, and as such, the Round 1 closing ranks for the General Category are usually within the 140-160 bracket based on the previous year’s trends, so it is not possible for the candidates belonging to the General (AI) category to get admission in Round 1. But reserved categories have a different story. Round 1 closing ranks for OBC (NCL) have gone very far, close to or a little bit beyond the rank 1000 in past years, hence, admission is possible but not a sure shot. Cut-offs for SC and ST are way higher, and rank 1000 generally promises a very good chance of admission, mostly in early rounds. Seat matrix, Telangana domicile quota, candidate withdrawals, and shifts in subsequent rounds are all factors that could affect the results.
