Narain College is a private college which was established in 1956 to offer quality education to students. Since at that time, the sources of education were very limited, this college has contributed to the education sector of India. Narain College is situated in Shikohabad, Uttar Pradesh. The college is accredited by NAAC and approved by UGC. The college offers several courses in the fields of science, commerce and arts.

Dear,To take admission in B.Sc Hons Agriculture you need to fulfill the eligibility of the program that is Qualifying JEE Mains^ or NEET^ or LPUNEST* or CUET and Pass with 60% aggregate marks in: (a) 10+2 or Intermediate (with English*, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR (b) 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) with English OR (c) 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalentThe LPU is the first private university to get ICAR approval. The LPU agriculture programme is designed with a target of holistic development of students. School of Agriculture offers programs with up-to -date curriculum designed to suit the aspirations of agricultural industries as well as major research and development sectors. The laboratories of the School are world class. One can get a job of a Biochemist, Food Scientist, environmental Engineer, Agricultural Lawyer, Agricultural Operations Manager, Animal Geneticist, Agricultural Engineers, Agronomy Sales Manager etc The dedicated faculty of LPU gives the students a hands -on training experience by assigning live projects (Agricultural work) in university agricultural research farms and experiential learning on different agricultural units. It includes disciplines like Agronomy, Horticulture Genetics and Plant Breeding, Soil Science, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Economics, Extension, etc. The major emphasis of the programme is to get the students acquainted with knowledge and hands-on experiences in the above mentioned discipline and apply that knowledge to high value agricultural production in a sustainable manner. Students may be given an option to go for a 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country as decided by the University subject to conditions. There is also an option to join a partner university abroad for a semester. Students are engaged towards evergreen agriculture, keeping in view the RAWE programme to build interpersonal skills. The students are exposed to Commercial farms to get know-how that creates an opportunity for students to engage and tone up their endurance, confidence and management skills. Emphasis on case studies and inter-personal based teaching to develop skills in analytical thinking and reflective judgment by reading and discussing complex, real-life scenarios is given. This year the maximum salary offered to a student was 23 LPA while average salary was 4.5 LPA. All the best!!

Yes,LPU offers more than 150 programs out of which the university is offering B.Sc in computer science course.Lovely Professional University (LPU) is a private university in India known for its comprehensive approach to education. Like any educational institution, LPU has rules and regulations in place to maintain discipline, ensure the smooth functioning of the campus, and create a conducive learning environment for students. While the specifics may vary, here are some general aspects to consider: 1. Attendance: Yes, The University is very strict in case of attendance and you are eligible to sit in an exam only when the criteria of 75% attendance gets fulfilled. If you have attendance less than 75% then your attendance in individual subjects are considered, and in whichever subject you have less than 75% percent, you will not be allowed to write exam of that particular subject. 2. Dress Code: LPU may have a specific dress code or uniform policy for students. Students may be required to adhere to certain guidelines regarding their attire, especially while attending classes or participating in formal events. 3. Code of Conduct: LPU expects students to maintain a code of conduct and exhibit respectful behaviour towards faculty, staff, and fellow students. Certain behaviours such as ragging, bullying, or any form of harassment are strictly prohibited. 4. Safety and Security: The whole campus means every nook is Covered with CCTV cameras. Girls have to enter their specific hostels in the particular time duration of 7 pm, and they cannot escape from hostels as boys are allowed to roam the university till 9 pm maximum. Illegal substances are strictly forbidden and regular checks are done to make sure such activities do not happen in the university. Any offensive act is not at all appreciated inside the campus and results in strict actions being taken against such action by the University. 5. Academic Integrity: Like any reputable institution, LPU emphasizes academic integrity and has policies in place to discourage plagiarism, cheating, or any other form of academic misconduct. Students are expected to uphold high standards of honesty and integrity in their academic work. 6.
