NIFD Global South Mumbai Starts Applications for UG and PG Admissions 2025

NIFD Global South Mumbai, a part of the INIFD legacy, has started its application process for UG and PG admissions 2024. Students can apply for admission to the institute online without paying a visit to the campus. Admissions to all the courses are done on a first-come-first-serve basis. However, students must note that they must meet the course-specific eligibility criteria to participate in the NIFD Global South Mumbai selection process. They can click on NIFD Global South Mumbai admissions to initiate the application process. 

Students selected for final admission need to report to NIFD Global South Mumbai with all required documents. The document verification process with be done by the institute before the confirmation of admission. Here is a list of all the required documents for admission:

NIFD Global South Mumbai Organised Educational Trip to Thailand Creative and Design Centre

NIFD Global South Mumbai, a renowned design school in South Mumbai, took its students to the Thailand Creative and Design Centre in Bangkok to provide its students with global exposure. The Thailand Creative and Design Centre is one of the largest design resource centres in the country. During this educational trip, NIFD Global South Mumbai students got an opportunity to browse and explore thousand of fashion design and interior design resources. This one-of-its-kind educational tour to Bangkok was organised by the institute as a part of the NIFD Global South Mumbai curriculum.

FDDI AIST 2026 Exam Date: The All India Selection Test (AIST) 2026 exam date and the full application schedule for admission to its undergraduate and graduate programs have been formally released by the Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI). As per the schedule, FDDI AIST 2026 Exam Date is set on May 10, and the registration begins on December 20, 2025, for qualified applicants to apply for FDDI AIST 2026 via the official website, fddiindia.com .

Every year, FDDI administers the All India Selection Test for admission to its programs in fashion design, leather products, footwear design, and business management on all of its campuses. Candidates who have passed Class 12 from any stream and a recognised board are eligible to apply for admission to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programs. Candidates may even register if their Class 12 results are still pending at the time of application. However, in accordance with the institute's guidelines, these applicants will receive provisional admission and are required to turn in their qualifying exam results by the final admission stage. Candidates in the General, OBC, and General-EWS categories must pay an application fee of Rs 600, while those in other categories must pay Rs 300, according to the notification. The application cost will rise to Rs 800 for candidates in the general category and Rs 400 for those in the reserved category if it is submitted after the deadline.

Although the precise date has not yet been disclosed, the FDDI AIST 2026 merit list will be posted on the official website. In a similar vein, the dates for orientation and class start, as well as the counselling process, will be announced later. According to the admission requirements, candidates who are assigned seats must finish paying the price by July 15, 2026.

DTU to accept UCEED 2026 Score for B.Des Admission

DTU to accept UCEED 2026 Score: For candidates planning to secure admissions for the B.Des course through the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) 2026, a new update has been released. The list of colleges that recognise UCEED results for admission to Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programs has been revised.  Two new institutions, Delhi Technological University (DTU) and Anant National University in Ahmedabad, have been added for the 2026 to 2027 academic year. This implies that students who pass the UCEED 2026 exam and want to enrol in B.Des programs have more possibilities. The UCEED 2026 merit rank will be used by both Anant National University and Delhi Technological University to provide admission to their B.Des programs. This gives many students studying design more options.

Candidates looking forward to appearing for the UCEED 2026 exam to be held on January 18, 2026, should note that more options for college selection are now open. The UCEED 2026 registration process has closed, and the admit card for the registered candidates is due on January 2, 2026. After the exam has been conducted, similar to other colleges, DTU will also release cutoffs for candidates qualifying the cutoffs will be eligible to apply for admissions directly to the college.

NIFT 2026 Application Form Correction — Dates, Process, Edit

​The NIFT 2026 application correction window will remain open from January 12 to January 14, 2026, where applicants can modify, update, or edit certain fields on their submitted application in online mode. Candidates may use the NIFT application correction window option if they mistakenly or hurriedly entered any incorrect or inappropriate information on the NIFT 2026 application form. The application process began on December 8, 2025, and will continue till January 6, 2026, with regular fee, and from January 7 to January 10, 2026, with a late fee of INR 5,000. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 8, 2026.
