NIFT Bangalore Admission Latest Update

Registration for NIFT Entrance Exam 2026 Now Open - NTA has announced that registration for the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE) for the year 2026 is now live. This includes registrations for various programs such as Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), NLEA (Lateral Entry), Artisans, and Ph.D. programmes. Interested candidates can apply through the official NTA website. Ensure to complete your registration before the deadline to secure your chance for admission to NIFT.

NIFT 2026 registrations have begun at exams.nta.nic.in/niftee for all UG and PG courses, including B.Des, B.F.Tech, M.Des, M.F.Tech, and MFM. Candidates can apply until January 6, 2026, while forms submitted with a late fee will be accepted till January 10, 2026. The application fee is ₹2000 for General category applicants and ₹500 for SC/ST/PwD categories. The entrance exam will be conducted on February 8, 2026.

The NIFT 2026 application form for UG and PG programmes is expected to be released soon on the official NTA website. Applications will be available for B.Des, M.Des, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and MFM. The expected fee is Rs 3,000 for General and Rs 1,500 for SC/ST/PwD categories.

NIFT Bangalore B.Des. Admission 2025

NIFT Bangalore admission 2025 is based on the NIFT Entrance Exam, which includes the General Ability Test (GAT), Creative Ability Test (CAT), and a Situation Test. Candidates who have completed their 10+2 education in any stream from a recognized board and are under 24 years of age as of August 1, 2025 are eligible to apply. NIFT Bangalore B.Des program spans four years and is available in five specializations: Fashion Design, Accessory Design, Fashion Communication, Knitwear Design, and Textile Design.

At LPU the focus of the BTech Automotive Design Engineering is to train the students on a range of topics including designing, manufacturing, and maintenance of automobiles.This course equips the students to meet the challenge of creating new and improved vehicle systems along with a good grasp of mechanical engineering principles and an understanding of the new materials being used. It deals with technical designing for fuel and performance efficiency and the second aspect primarily focuses on designing the aesthetics of the vehicle.
