NIT Arunachal Pradesh admissions 2025 are ongoing. The college provides admission in BTech, MTech and MBA courses. BTech and MTech courses are offered in 9 and 7 specialisations respectively.  For BTech admission, JEE Main 2025 has already been conducted and JoSAA counselling is currently ongoing, round 1,2 and 3 have already been conducted and round 4 will conclude on July 9, 2025. JEE Mains 2026 applications will start from November 2025 and the 1st session will be conducted in January, 2026. For MTech admissions, GATE registration will commence in August,2025 and exam will be held on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026.

NIT Arunachal Pradesh Admission Dates 2025

To pursue BTech at NIT Arunachal Pradesh, candidates must have scored a minimum of 75 per cent in the board exams of XII class. Candidates should have qualified the board exams from any recognized board. Candidates should have studied Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects in XII class. Candidates must have studied Mathematics, Physics, Language, Biology or Biotechnology or Chemistry or Technical Vocational and any other subject in class XII.  They are also required to qualify JEE Main to get admission in BTech courses offered by NIT Arunachal Pradesh. JEE Main ranks secured by a candidate determines whether or not she/he will be getting admission. Candidates must note that XII class marks have no weightage in JEE Main scores.

NIT Arunachal Pradesh BTech Selection/ Counselling Process 2025

The process of counselling begins after JEE Main result is out. It is done on the basis of JoSAA. Candidates need to register themselves on the official website of JoSAA.

Candidate must have pursued B.Tech or B.E. in the respective discipline to be eligible for MTech at NIT Arunachal Pradesh. Candidate must have secured 60 per cent marks in graduation. He/she should have pursued bachelors from any recognized University. Candidates looking for admission in MTech courses offered by NIT Arunachal Pradesh have to qualify Graduate Aptitude Test Engineering (GATE). GATE ranks secured by candidates determine their admission followed by CCMT counselling.

NIT Arunachal Pradesh MTech Application Process 2025

Candidates need to visit the official website of NIT Arunachal Pradesh and may then proceed to fill the application form:

• Candidates will have to fill all the mandatory details on the application form. 
• Once added candidates need to Upload Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature.
• After adding candidates may proceed to pay the application fee through credit, debit or net banking.
• Candidates may also submit the fee offline by sending the demand draft in favour of “Director NIT Arunachal Pradesh” payable at SBI, Nurjuli.
• The application fee is INR 500 (INR 150 in the case of SC/ST/Women candidates).
