The JEE Main 2026 exam conducted on January 22 had two shifts with noticeable differences in difficulty level. KEAM 2026 Application Form Last Date: The Government of Kerala will close the KEAM 2026 application form fill-up process on January 31, 2026 (till 5 PM). Candidates who have yet to fill out the application form should visit the official website- cee.kerala.gov.in and submit the form on or before the last date. After submitting the KEAM application form, the candidates should take a printout of the acknowledgement form for future reference. Candidates are asked not to send the application acknowledgement page or the supporting documents to the Commissioner's office via post. 

The IIT Bombay placement package report 2026 has not been released yet. As per the details, the average package and median packages offered during IIT Bombay placements 2025 were INR 23.5 LPA and INR 17.92 LPA, respectively. In addition, the overall placement rate recorded during IIT Bombay placements 2025 was 74.53%. Other than this, the overall placement rate recorded during BTech and Dual Degree (BTech + MTech) placements 2025 was 83.39% and 79.16%, respectively. Whereas under the MTech course, 415 students were placed out of 497 participating students with a recorded placement rate of 83.5%.

You are already above the average range if your score in JEE Main 2026 is 140 marks. As per predictions by Mahima Gupta - "140 marks in JEE Mains 2026 means a percentile score of 95.8-98.5, which treanslates to a rank of around 61,750-22,500. At this score, you definitely have a better chance to study at respectable engineering colleges, including some of the newer/ lesser NITs, like NIT Srinagar, NIT Puducherry, NIT Mizoram and others." But, since the introduction of percentiles in JEE exams, scoring above a required point is mandatory, as AIR will correspond to that mark only.
