For getting B Tech Admission in Uttar Pradesh without JEE Main Rank, students will have to apply for private colleges that accept merit-based selection process or college-specific entrance exams for admission. These private colleges also accept low JEE Main Ranks for admission to B.Tech based on management quota or lateral entry for diploma holders. The percentage of seats under the management quota is 15% for the state of Uttar Pradesh. While it is important to understand that JEE Main serves as the gateway to UG engineering course admissions across all government and private colleges, there are other ways to seek admission for B.Tech in case a student fails to secure the required JEE Main Rank for selection.
