JEE Main 2026 Session 1 provisional answer key has been released on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can check the answer keys and their response sheets online. The objection window will remain open until February 6, 2026, while the final answer key and results are expected to be announced by February 12, 2026.
COMEDK UGET 2026 registration has begun for admission into undergraduate engineering programmes. Candidates can apply online through the official website comedk.org until March 16, 2026. The COMEDK UGET 2026 exam is set to be conducted on May 9, 2026.
JEE Main 2026 Session 2 registrations are now open at jeemain.nta.nic.in for admission to B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning programmes. The last date to apply is February 25, 2026, and the exam will be conducted between April 2 and April 9, 2026.
Admission to Sapthagiri College of Engineering (SCE) in Bangalore is primarily based on entrance exams and eligibility criteria set by the Government of Karnataka and AICTE. For undergraduate B.E./B.Tech programs, students must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates), with English as one of the languages. Admissions are conducted through the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) for Karnataka students and COMEDK UGET for both Karnataka and non-Karnataka students. Management quota seats are also available for direct admission.
For postgraduate M.Tech programs, admission is based on scores from the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or Karnataka PGCET. The M.Tech program is offered in specializations like Computer Science & Engineering and VLSI Design and Embedded Systems. The admission process is managed by the college's admission department, ensuring transparency and adherence to affiliating university guidelines.
Admission to the Master of Technology Course shall be open to all the candidates who have passed B.E. / B.Tech. Examinations (in relevant field) of VTU or any other University / Institution or equivalent examination recognized by the University.
Admission to M.Tech. Course shall be open to the candidates who have passed the prescribed qualifying examinations with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations.
In the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and Group I, the aggregate percentage of marks in the qualifying examinations shall not be less than 45%.
Admission to I year / I semester Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Technology shall be open to the candidates who have passed the second year Pre-University or XII standard or equivalent examination recognized by the University.
In addition to OB 2.1, the candidate shall have secured not less than forty five percent (45%) marks in the aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with any one of the following subjects, namely, Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology and Electronics.
Admission to II year/ III semester Bachelor Degree in Engineering/ Technology (Lateral Entry) shall be open to the candidates who are holders of a diploma or equivalent qualification as recognized by University who have secured not less than forty five percentage (45%) marks in the final year examination (fifth and sixth semesters) in the appropriate branch of engineering.
Those candidates who have passed a qualifying examination other than the PUC II examination of the Pre-University Education Board of Karnataka, or Engineering Diploma Examinations of the Board of Technical Education of Karnataka, have to obtain eligibility certificate for seeking admission to B.E./B.Tech. Degree Course from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum or from the Principal of concerned Engineering College of Karnataka State.
