The JEE Main 2026 is to be held in the month of January 2026 as per the official notification by the NTA (National Testing Agency). As per the notification by the NTA, there are no major changes in the reservation percentages for any category; however, some crucial changes have been made by the NTA related to documentation. The JEE Main 2026 notification has been released on October 31, 202,5, with a few changes made in the JEE Main 2026 exam structure of B.Arch and BPlan. As per the new exam pattern for the JEE Main BArch 2026 exam, the paper will comprise a total of 77 questions instead of 82 questions, in which all the questions will be compulsory. On the other hand, the JEE Main exam pattern 2026 for the BPlan paper, the total number of questions will be 100 instead of 105 questions, and all the questions will be compulsory. To register for the JEE Main examination 2026, students will be required to visit the official website of the National Testing Agency @jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main application form 2026 has been released on October 31, 2025, and the candidates can register for the January session 1 exam till November 27, 2025. Students will be required to keep some documents handy to complete the JEE Main application form 2026. The list of documents required for JEE Main 2026 registration includes Class 10th and 12th marksheets, a passport-sized photograph, valid ID proof, category certificate (if applicable), etc. Students must ensure that they upload all the necessary documents for the JEE Main application form according to the specifications and format laid down by the NTA.
