B.Sc Agriculture Fee Structure in Govt vs Private Colleges

B.Sc Agriculture Fee Structure in Govt vs Private Colleges depends on factors like the type of institution and funding, location or policies imposed within the state, facilities & infrastructure, etc. among others. Since the government colleges receive subsidies, the tuition fee is lower, for example, the fee at GB Pant University is INR 2500. On the other hand, the tuition fee at private universities is higher, ranging from INR 30,000–3,00,000, since they depend on self-funding and invest in modern labs, hostels, and faculty. Also, pursuing a B.Sc in Agriculture is more expensive in colleges in Punjab/Delhi with the tuition fee ranging from INR 80,000 - 3,00,000 even in government colleges, as compared to rural states like UP/MP where the fees do not exceed INR 50,000.

Dear student,

Any student who has studied in NIOS and has passed in all subjects can apply for a regular course in any university/college in India. NIOS is a govt. accredited body and has the same standing as CBSE & ICSE.

However, in your case, you do not meet the eligibility criteria for a Nutritionist course, which is:

  • Minimum 50% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects

Since you have not studied Physics, Chemistry & Biology, you are not eligible to pursue a Nutritionist course. However, you may try a Nutritionist course through any of the online learning platforms like Coursera, Udemy etc.
