Dear Student,

The question is not very clear. Please write specific questions so that we can address the concern. However if you have got a seat in any particular college where you don’t want to go, then you should wait for the next round of counselling or till the closure of the admission process. If seats remain vacant, then there are chances that you may get admission in your choice of college. Dear Student,

Sushilavati Government Women's College admissions are both merit and entrance-based. The institution accepts Odisha CHSE and CBSE 12th etc. for admission to various courses. You need to score a minimum of 50% marks to appear for entrance examinations as well as merit based examinations. If your marks are less than 50%, it is very unlikely that you will get admission in the general category for most Honours or popular courses, as recent cutoffs are much higher (usually above 60% for general seats). Sushilavati Government Women's College, Rourkela, admits students based on merit, which is based on marks obtained in the 10+2  exam. The minimum eligibility to apply for BA, B.Sc, or B.Com is passing 10+2 from a recognized board.

For the recent admission cycle, the last round cutoffs (General category) for some popular courses were:

  • B.A. in Education: 64.33%
  • B.A. in Hindi: 70.17%
  • B.A. in Political Science: 70.17%
  • B.Sc. in Zoology: 74.67%
  • B.A. in English: 68%
