JEE Mains Question Paper 28 January 2026 Shift 1 will provide valuable insights into the exam type, subject-wise difficulty level and distribution, and the type of questions asked by NTA. The Shift 1 exam is over and the question paper will be provided here soon. The question paper was moderate with lengthy questions in Chemistry and Maths, but Physics was doable. After analysing the past question paper trends, we can predict that the later shifts of the exam session are generally more challenging than the earlier shifts and exam days. 

Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are one of the most highly regarded engineering schools in India. JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Registration: National Testing Agency will start JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Registration soon. The official date for the commencement of the registration process has not been announced yet; however, based on the previous year’s trend, it is likely to begin between February 1 and 8, 2026. If delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, then the registration might begin by February 15, 2026. Once the registration begins, candidates will be able to access the application forms at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates first need to create an account on the portal, and then sign in with the credentials generated to access the registration form. The credentials required to log in are the application number, password, and the security pin displayed on the screen.

Scoring 150 marks in JEE Main 2026 is a significant achievement that positions the examinee well above the average line and typically places the person in the high percentile range alongside other candidates. Nevertheless, it is the percentile that dictates the rank and the counselling outcomes, not only the raw marks. Due to the normalisation and the differences between the sessions, the same score could result in different percentiles depending on the overall performance of the peers and the level of difficulty of a particular session.
