What is the process for IGNOU fees refund?

The fees of admission and registration are non-refundable. The IGNOU exam fee is refundable on the basis of certain criteria which is aligned with the university guidelines. These include the following: If the IGNOU admission cancellation is made before the deadline for submitting the form, Rs 200 will be deducted from the total price. If candidates apply for cancellation after the submission deadline but within 15 days, a Rs 500 reduction will be made. Rs 1,000 will be deducted if candidates apply for cancellation within 16 to 90 days of submitting the IGNOU admission form. However, if candidates are delayed and ask for cancellation after 90 days, candidates will not receive a refund.

What is the IGNOU fee payment method?

The programme fee for IGNOU online admission can be paid by credit/ debit card or net banking. Visa and Master Cards are accepted for programme fee payment. Candidates will receive the IGNOU fee payment confirmation by SMS and email. After confirmation, candidates must download the fee receipt or document for further reference. If your payment was deducted but you did not receive an acknowledgement, candidates will then need to send the transaction details, including the control number, candidate name, programme chosen, mobile number, the amount paid, and so on, to the Centralised Student Registration Cell at 011-29571301 or 011-29571528. Are IGNOU scholarships available for students?

IGNOU provides fee exemption/ reimbursement privileges as per the university's policies for learners belonging to reserved categories, namely Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST). Learners from these categories who are accepted into IGNOU courses are eligible for Government of India Scholarships. They are advised to collect the IGNOU scholarship forms from the Directorate of Social Welfare or the office of the Social Welfare Officer of their State, fill them out, and submit the duly completed scholarship form to the Regional Director at the Regional Centre (where they are admitted/registered for the programme or they applied for admission) for necessary certification by the Regional Director.

If the seating capacity at the chosen exam centre is full, you may choose the closest IGNOU exam centre. The IGNOU School of Foreign Languages (SOFL) offers certificate and diploma courses in a variety of foreign languages. There are eight certificate programmes and one diploma programme.
