The ceremony was graced by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa, Shri Pramod Sawant, and Hon’ble Health Minister of Goa, Shri Vishwajit Rane, who officially launched the new campus and participated in the lamp-lighting and oath-taking ceremony of healthcare students. The event combined Goan culture with modern education through cultural performances and short films on the state’s contribution to education and healthcare. With 549 admissions already confirmed, the university aims to provide world-class yet affordable education to Goan students, close to home. Speaking at the event, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane encouraged students pursuing nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and allied health sciences, calling their choice “one of the most honorable callings in life – the service of humanity.” Chief Minister Pramod Sawant added that Goans would now have access to quality education at par with top universities in India, without leaving the state.
Dr. Devanshu Patel, Director of Parul Education Foundation, shared his vision of turning Goa into not only a tourist hub but also a strong center for education. He highlighted that Parul University Goa is built on innovation, excellence, and opportunities for local students. The inauguration concluded with a digital launch and celebrations involving students, faculty, and visitors, creating a festive atmosphere on campus. The new university is expected to play a key role in shaping Goa’s educational and healthcare future.

Based on trends from the previous rounds, the seat allotment results are expected to be released around 6 PM or 8 PM, and at the latest by 11 PM. The allocation of seats will be determined by candidates’ merit and the order of preferences they have submitted. IIT JAM 2026 Application Form Correction Open: The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, has opened the IIT JAM 2026 application form correction window. If the candidates need to edit the IIT JAM application form, they should visit the official website- jam2026.iitb.ac.in and make the corrections in the JOAPS portal on or before November 10, 2025 (till 11.59 PM). For the same, the candidates should log in using the enrollment ID and password to edit the IIT JAM application form 2026. Candidates should enter their email ID and password to log in to their accounts.
