MIT Manipal has announced a collaboration with Deakin University, Australia, to launch a dual-degree programme. This initiative aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of their chosen field and enhance their career opportunities in the engineering and technology sectors. The dual-degree programme enables students to earn two globally recognised undergraduate qualifications from leading universities in four years. Students can choose their major from two discipline areas: Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering.
The programme combines modern theory with industry-standard skills. The 2-year BTech course at MIT and the 2-year Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at Deakin University equip students with the skills needed to create innovative solutions to real-world engineering problems. Dr. Anil Rana, Director, MIT, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating that it strengthens academic ties and expands the reach of education across continents, cultures, and knowledge fields.
MIT Manipal students who meet the eligibility criteria may be considered for the Deakin International Merit Scholarship (South Asia), which offers a 20% or 25% tuition fee waiver. The programme also offers seamless credit transfer between both institutions and a full-time student experience in India and Australia. Upon completion, students will be awarded two degrees: a BTech from MAHE Manipal and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from Deakin University, Australia.

A key component of Class 12 Electrodynamics, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents is one of the KCET Physics syllabus 2026's most conceptually deep and scoring units. The foundation for comprehending the production, transmission, and use of electric power in daily life is laid forth in this subject. It is crucial for candidates to have both theoretical clarity and problem-solving skills because questions from this chapter frequently occur in KCET as both straight formula-based issues and concept-oriented numerical questions.

In the KCET Physics syllabus, optics is a crucial and high-scoring section that assesses both conceptual clarity and analytical application in the 2026 exam. In general, optics deals with the characteristics and behavior of light, how it interacts with various mediums, and the phenomena that result from these interactions. Learning this course requires KCET candidates to visualize and rationally explain how light travels, bends, interferes, and produces images in addition to remembering mathematics. For students who want to major in science and engineering, the subject is crucial since it connects theoretical ideas with real-world applications.

The UGC NET Computer Science December 2025 exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 2, 2026 (Shift 1). With very limited time left, candidates aiming for Assistant Professor or JRF eligibility must now shift their focus from random preparation to a more topic-wise, weightage-based strategy.
