The qualifying percentage marks for a rank in AP ECET 2026 are 25% of the aggregate scores in the four subjects or 50 marks out of a total of 200. However, there will be no minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates.

The ranking and evaluation process of AP ECET 2026 has been discussed below.

• Candidates will be ranked (Integrated Merit Rank) based upon the marks obtained by them in the AP ECET 2026 exam [FDH & B.Sc. (with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects)]
• The exam conducting body takes utmost care to avoid errors in evaluation, checking, scrutiny, tabulation and ranking. Hence request for re-totaling and revaluation of the AP ECET 2026 result will in no case be entertained. Candidates will be ranked in the order of merit in AP ECET 2026, separately in each branch of Engineering Course 
• According to the Government Order, all Diploma holders in any branch of Engineering/Technology, who qualify in AP ECET [FDH & B.Sc. (with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects)] 2026 are eligible for admission into B.Tech. in Information Technology and B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering branches. The Integrated Merit Rank is taken into consideration for admission into B.Tech in Information Technology and B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering branches. The Integrated Merit Rank is based upon the total marks secured in AP ECET 2026 [FDH] & B.Sc. (with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects) by candidates with Diploma in any branch of Engineering/Technology. 
• Resolving Tie in Engineering Stream: In case of a tie in aggregate, the marks secured in the Engineering subject, and in case of further tie the marks secured in the Mathematics subject and if the tie still persists, the marks obtained in the  Physics subject will be taken into consideration to decide the relative ranking of the candidates. In case of candidates getting equal marks in each of the four subjects, they will be bracketed for the purpose of awarding of rank. Age of the candidate will be considered at the time of admission for resolving the tie, the older candidate being provided preference. 
• Resolving Tie in Pharmacy Stream: In case of tie, the candidates who obtain the same aggregate marks are given the same rank and at the time of admission, age will be taken into consideration; the older candidate will be provided preference. 
• Resolving Tie in B.Sc. (with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects) Stream: In case of a tie in aggregate, the marks secured in the Mathematics subject and in case of further tie the candidates who get the same aggregate marks are provided the same rank and at the time of admission, age will be taken into consideration; the older candidate will be provided priority.

The qualifying percentage marks for securing a rank in the AP ECET 2026 exam is 25% of the aggregate marks in the four subjects (three subjects for B.Sc. Mathematics) i.e., 50 marks out of a total of 200. However, in case of the SC/ST candidates, there shall be no minimum qualifying marks for ranking the candidates. The rank secured with the benefit of relaxation of the minimum qualifying marks in  AP ECET [FDH & B.Sc.(with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects)]-2026 by any candidate claiming to belong to the SC/ST category will be cancelled in case the claim is found to be invalid at the time of admission.
