The HPCET 2026 marking strategy includes negative marking for every incorrect answer chosen by the applicant. All responses chosen by the applicant will be considered incorrect, and scores will be deducted consequently. However, unanswered questions will not be marked negatively or at all.

According to the HPCET 2026 exam pattern, the entrance exam will be conducted via offline mode for three hours and fifteen minutes.
