If seats remain after two rounds of APRDC CET 2026 counselling, open admission is permitted at the college level. In case there is a tie among the aspirants with the same marks in the APRDC CET 2026 exam, then the order of the merit will be decided as follows:
a. A combined ranking will be provided for Course code 3 and Course code 4 and the selection will be based on the merit acquired in the entrance exam.
b. The higher marks obtained by the candidate as mentioned below:
i) Course Code1 – in Commerce-I, Commerce-II, Economics
ii) Course Code 2 - in Mathematics, Economics, commerce
iii) Course Code 3 -in History, Economics, Civics
iv) Course Code 4-in Maths, Physics, Chemistry
c. If the tie still persists, the seats will be allocated by taking the advanced age as criteria.
d. If still, the tie remains, candidates belonging to the following communities (in that order) shall be offered a higher rank and provided preference while seat allotment:
i) ST
ii) SC
iii) BC-A
iv) BC-B
v) BC-C
vi) BC-D
vii) BC-E
viii) OC

Given below are all the important details about the reservation of the seats in APRDC CET 2026:
a) Under the NCC category, the Senior Division ‘B’ Certificate issued by concerned NCC authorities will only be considered for the admission in NCC category.
b) Under the Sports category, seats will be offered based on the merit obtained in the APRDC CET 2026 exam among other candidates who applied under the sports category. Candidates should note that only district and above-level participation certificates issued by the competent Authority will be considered for admission in this category.
c) Under the PHC category, seats will be provided based on merit in APRDC CET 2026 exam among the other PHC category candidates. 40% or more disability as per the certificate issued by the Medical Board will only be considered for admission in this category.
d) Under the CAP (Children of Armed Personnel) category, seats will be allotted based on merit in the APRDC CET exam 2026. The parent of the candidate must be an ex-service or presently in defence service as certified by the District Sainik Board and will only be considered for admission in this category.
e) Under the Orphan category, seats will be offered based on merit in the APRDC CET seat allotment 2026 among the candidates applied under the Orphan category. Certificate issued by the concerned MRO that the candidate has no parents will only be considered for admission in this category.
