CMAT 2026 Exam Centres

CMAT 2026 exam centres are announced by the NTA through the official information bulletin released on its website. For the 2026 session, the test was conducted on January 25, 2026, across nearly 130 cities. 

Applicants can choose up to 4 preferred exam centre cities while completing their CMAT application form. The final allotment of a CMAT exam centre depends on NTA based on the choices filled and seat availability in each city.

To find out which location has been allocated, students can check the CMAT city intimation slip released a few days before the CMAT admit card is issued. Meanwhile, from their hall tickets, they can view the details of the allotted centre, including venue address, reporting time, exam day guidelines, and other key information.

Also, please note that once an exam centre is assigned, requests for changes are not entertained by the conducting authority. On the exam day, applicants must carry the CMAT admit card along with a valid photo ID such as Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, or Voter ID.

The CMAT 2026 exam centre list is available in the table below. There are 131 cities/ towns across India where the test is conducted. While submitting your CMAT application form, you can select your hometown as your first preference. If that's not on the list, choose another city that may be closer to where you live.

How to Select Exam Centres in CMAT 2026 Application Form

Following are the required steps to select the CMAT exam centres 2026.

• Visit the official website of CMAT and click on the register now

• Enter all the required details such as work experience and academic details

• Choose four CMAT exam centres from the choices provided on the page

• Once done, proceed to complete the application form

• Submit the completed application form

CMAT 2026 Exam Centres Dos and Don’ts

Here are a few dos and don'ts you must be aware of while going through a smooth process for your CMAT 2026 exam. This way, following the instructions below, you will avoid hassle while dealing with the procedure.

CMAT Exam Centres Dos 

• Bring Two Printed Copies of the Admit Card & ID Proof: Carry two printed copies of your CMAT 2026 admit card along with the original form of ID proof.
• Carry a Ball Pen: One ball pen blue or black pen, for the attendance sheet for signature.
• Arrive on Time: Report to the exam centre by 7:30 AM for the morning session and by 1:30 PM for the afternoon session.
• Follow Security Instructions: Cooperate with the security staff when being screened. Again, ensure to follow any invigilator's instructions on the day in order not to be disqualified.
• Wait for the Signal to Log In: You should log into the computer system only when the invigilator allows.

CMAT Exam Centres Don’ts

• Don't Reach Late: You need to reach the CMAT exam centre on time. For the first slot, arrive before 8:30 in the morning. For the second slot, get there before 1:30 in the afternoon. Any students reaching late cannot get inside the centre.
• Leave Electronics Behind: Do not take any electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, calculators, digital watches, or iPads to the examination centre. Such items are totally banned.
• Avoid Wearing Certain Clothing and Accessories: You should not wear items such as caps, jackets, clothes with pockets, or accessories made of metal, including belts, jewellery, or hair clips. Dress appropriately according to the rules of the exam.
• No Eatables or Bags Inside the Examination Centre: Of course, water and fruits for diabetic students are allowed. Valuables must be left outside the examination centre.
• Do not Misbehave: Keep calm and courteous manner while approaching the security and staff of the examination centre. Any form of misbehaviour may lead to disqualification in the exam.

Important Instructions for CMAT 2026 Exam Centres

• Candidates are advised to reach the examination centre two hours before the examination.

• They will have to carry their CMAT admit card, one passport-size photograph, and one ID proof while going to the examination centre

• Candidates may check the examination centre allotted to them from the admit card

• They are advised to follow the Covid-19 safety guidelines decided by the centre 

• They should not carry any other document except the admit card and ID proof to the examination centre

• Candidates should read all the instructions provided on the admit card

• Candidates are required to get their documents verified as directed by CMAT 2026 exam centre authorities on the exam day.

CMAT City Intimation Slip 2026

The National Testing Agency (NTA) typically issues the CMAT city intimation slip in the third week of January. This slip notifies you of the city to which your CMAT test centre has been allotted. To know your test city, you can simply follow these steps: 

• Visit the official website of CMAT 2026.
• Click on the link that reads "Advanced City Intimation".
• Enter your CMAT 2026 application number and password.
• The city intimation slip will appear on your screen.
• Note the city assigned to you and download it for reference.
