The candidate must be a resident/ domicile of Uttar Pradesh.
Candidates who have passed their high school, Intermediate, and equivalent examinations from Uttar Pradesh are not required to submit their domicile from Uttar Pradesh.
If a candidate has either pursued her/his Secondary School Certificate and Intermediate examination (or equivalent) or both from outside Uttar Pradesh, the candidate will have to present their domicile or similar document to prove that they are a citizen of the state.
For admission to the ANM course, only female candidates are allowed to apply for CPNET 2026.
Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50 percent marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
For candidates belonging to ST and SC category, the minimum score requirement is 45 per cent.
Candidates should have passed separately in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in 12th grade.
Candidates from the general category are required to have scored at least 45 per cent marks in aggregate in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
For candidates from SC and ST category, the minimum scores required are 40 per cent.
Candidates must have passed in English separately.
Students from centrally recognised NIOS (National Institute of Open School) and Uttar Pradesh govt. recognised state open school, who have passed Intermediate exams or equivalent with Science subjects and English are also considered eligible.
