The CUET PG 2026 exam will be conducted at 292 CUET PG 2026 exam centres across 288 cities, including 272 in India and 16 abroad, as per recent updates from the NTA and major education portals. During the application, you can choose up to four preferred cities, mainly from your home or current state. The final allotted centre, along with the exact city code, will be mentioned only on your admit card.
Your Ultimate Exam Preparation Guide Awaits!
CUET PG 2026 exam centres are planned across 292 cities, including locations in India and selected international cities, to make travel and logistics easier for candidates. CUET PG 2026 exam centres will operate in 276 Indian cities, while 16 cities abroad have been earmarked for overseas test takers. The detailed list of cities is available on the official exam website along with the latest information brochure and application form. During the CUET PG 2026 application process, candidates can now indicate four preferred cities in order of priority, instead of the earlier limit of two. This wider choice helps align the test city with both present and permanent addresses. Applicants who submitted their forms before the change will be allowed to edit their preferences in the CUET PG 2026 correction window and add two more cities within the specified dates.
To choose the exam city for CUET PG 2026, you need to follow the instructions below:
Note: The NTA might not be able to assign applicants to the exam city of their choice. The reason behind this is that there might be more candidates than seats available in a given city if that city is their choice. Candidate assignments will be made to the closest exam city if the NTA is unable to place them in their originally selected exam city.
It is important for test takers to remember these guidelines:
Note: All CUET PG 2026 exam centre cities are subject to change at NTA's discretion. The test centre cannot be changed once a candidate has been assigned a city. In spite of having an admit card, they are not permitted to take the test in a different city or centre; they must appear for it at the designated exam site.

Keep in mind that the list of acceptable items is subject to change. It is suggested that candidates stay up to date on the approved items by visiting the official CUET PG website. Applicants should get to the exam centre at least thirty minutes ahead of time on the day of the exam. They will have enough time to check in and go through security.
The following things are prohibited from being brought to the CUET PG 2026 exam centres.
Except for a clear water bottle and a 50 ml sanitiser bottle, candidates are not permitted to bring any food or beverages into the exam facility. Candidates will not be allowed to continue with the exam if they are found to be carrying any of the prohibited items.
It is important to remember that the list of prohibited items is subject to change. It is recommended that candidates stay updated about the non-permissible items by visiting the official CUET PG website.
The CUET intimation slip for PG courses will be made available on NTA's official website. Using the login details, you can download the CUET 2026 PG intimation slip. The information regarding the date, location, and city of the CUET PG exam will be included in the intimation slip.
The following instructions must be followed by candidates in order to download the CUET PG 2026 advance city slip:
Note: This is not the admit card, candidates must be aware of that. In order for them to make appropriate plans, it is more like a heads-up about the city where their exam centre will be located.
The following information will be included on the CUET PG 2026 city intimation slip:
Here, candidates can know everything there is to know about the NTA's other common service centres as well as the CUET PG 2026 test practice centres that are close to them.
The NTA has been directed by the Ministry of Education to establish a network of Test Practice Centres so that candidates, particularly those in rural and remote areas, can become accustomed to taking computer-based tests (CBTs). This facility is offered without charge at all. In order to practise on a specific computer node, candidates can register online (through the NTA website) and are assigned a convenient TPC close to their location. It makes it easier to take a computer-based test (CBT) thanks to this.
The whole computer-using experience is quite similar to the real CBT experience. We make every effort to provide practice exams and questions so that applicants can become comfortable with using the system, logging in, reading the comprehensive test instructions, answering each question using the mouse or virtual numeric keyboard on the screen, navigating between questions, scrolling down to the next one, reviewing and editing their options, and submitting their answers.
Note: TPCs are primarily used to arrange test preparation for the upcoming NTA exams.
Under the Honourable Prime Minister's Digital India initiatives, candidates who encounter difficulties submitting their online applications or are not well-versed in the subject matter can seek assistance from the Common Services Centre, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. A Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE) oversees the Common Services Centre (CSC) program, which is part of the Government of India's ambitious National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) and is implemented at the village panchayat level.
Throughout the nation, there are over 1.5 lakh Common Services Centres (CSC) that offer candidates from both urban and rural areas the necessary assistance with submitting their application forms online and paying their fees using e-wallets. The website www.csc.gov.in has the list of Common Services Centres.
Please click the following link to find the closest Common Services Centre: Find My Csc (https://findmycsc.nic.in/csc/).
