HP PAT 2026 Counselling will commence from June, 2026 tentatively through online mode. Students with a valid rank in the exam must participate in the HP PAT counselling 2026 process to secure a seat in their desired polytechnic course offered by their desired polytechnic institution. The HP PAT counselling process will be conducted in two rounds, followed by a spot counselling session for the vacant seats. The HP PAT 2026 counselling process is conducted in three rounds, and the spot round is conducted by the authorities to fill in any vacant seats after the three rounds have been conducted.

The counselling process will comprise different steps like registration for counselling, choice filling, seat allotment result, document verification, and admission. Step by Step Counselling Process of HP PAT 2026

The step-by-step process of HP PAT 2026 counselling is mentioned below.

• Registration: Students who have successfully cleared the exam will be eligible to register themselves for the counselling process of HP PAT
• Choice Filling: During the choice filling process, candidates have to enter their preferred choice of college and course. Candidates are advised to mark as many choices as possible
• Seat Allotment Result: Based on the choices filled by the candidates, marks secured in the exam, and availability of seats in various colleges. The authorities will release the seat allotment result
• Document Verification & Admission: Students allotted seats in the seat allotment result have to download the seat allotment letter. 
• Reporting to the Allotted Institute: The students can report to their allotted institutes within the given time frame and submit all the documents along with the first installment of the due fees.

HP PAT Counselling 2026- Spot Round

The exam conducting body will conduct the spot round of HP PAT 2026 counselling to fill the vacant seats (if any) after the completion of the three rounds. If vacant seats remain even after the third round, then the authorities will conduct a spot round of counselling via offline mode.
