Mock Allotment | After the options entry, the authority will conduct the mock allotment, and the allotment status will be hosted on the website of KEA. The mock seat allotment is conducted to familiarise the students with the seat allotment procedure. In order to verify the status of their allotment, two days' time will be given to the students. You can change/modify your choices on the basis of the mock allotment result. After ascertaining the college and course allotted, if you wish to change/modify the options, then you can do so within the stipulated date and time and on the basis of the modified entry of options, the real seat allotment process will be conducted. |
Seat Allotment | This is the last step of the counselling process. The seat allotment is conducted on a merit-based basis and on the basis of the options filled. The Karnataka PGCET 2026 seat allotment will be done as per the reservation policy of the government. After seat allotment, you must report to the college for seat confirmation. |
Reporting to the allotted institute | In this step of the counselling process, you have to visit the allotted institute within the specified date and time, which has been allotted a seat after the first, second or special round (if any). You will be issued a provisional seat allotment letter, which you can download by logging into the Karnataka PGCET 2026 counselling portal. While visiting the college, you must carry all the documents in their original and xerox copies and deposit the requisite fees as charged by the college. |
