KIITEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The KIITEE 2026 eligibility criteria is a set of prescribed parameters for the applicants of KIITEE 2026. The eligibility criteria are set to filter the absolutely appropriate ones for the examination, the ones who satisfy the eligibility criteria of KIITEE 2026 will be able to apply for KIITEE 2026. 

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar will prescribe the eligibility criteria of KIITEE 2026. Candidates applying for the exam have to fulfil certain conditions to become eligible for appearing in the KIITEE 2026 examination. The parameters of KIITEE 2026 eligibility include age limit, academic history, qualifying examination, subjects and marks obtained by the candidates. The detailed eligibility criteria for KIITEE 2026 have been provided below.

KIITEE 2026 Eligibility For B.Tech (4 years)/ B.Tech & M.Tech. (Dual Degree) Biotechnology (5 years)

• Candidates who passed 10+2 in 2024, 2025 or appearing in 10+2 examination in 2026 are eligible to apply for B.Tech (4 years), B.Tech & M.Tech. (Dual Degree) (Biotechnology) course of the University.

• Candidates should have studied in regular full-time formal education in their schooling /college. 

• Candidates should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics taken together.

• Candidates should have been born on or after 1st July 2000.

• B.Tech. & M.Tech. (Dual Degree) (Biotechnology): Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology taken together.

KIITEE 2026 Eligibility for B.Tech.-LE (3 years)

• Candidates should have passed 3 years Engineering diploma course with at least 60% marks in aggregate from State Council of Technical Education of any state or equivalent.

• To get admission inB.Tech Lateral Entry (3 years), candidates should have acquired a 3-year diploma in the same branch.

• Candidates should have been born on or after 1st July 1997. 

KIITEE 2026 Eligibility For B.Tech in Architecture (5 years)

• Candidates should have passed 10+2 and scored 60% marks in aggregate with Mathematics as the main subject and passed in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).

• Candidates should have been born on or after 1st July 2002.

KIITEE 2026 Eligibility For B.Sc Nursing (4 years)

• Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Chemistry, Physics & Biology and English (PCBE)., and secured at least 45% marks in aggregate. 

• The minimum age of a candidate to take admission for the B.Sc. Nursing is 17 years and the maximum age should be 35 years as on 31st December 2026.

KIITEE 2026 Eligibility For B.A. LL.B/ BBA LL.B/ B.Sc LL.B (5 years)

• Candidates should've completed 10+2 or equivalent with at least 45% marks in any branch. 

• Candidates should not have completed 21 years as on 1st July, 2026.

KIITEE 2026 Eligibility For B.Sc LL.B

• Candidates should have scored at least 45% marks in 10+2 or equivalent in the Science stream.

• Candidates should not have completed 21 years of age as on 1st July, 2026.

KIITEE 2026 Eligibility For BBA (3 years)

• Candidates should have scored at least 50% marks in 10+2 in any stream with Business Mathematics/Mathematics/Economics/ Statistics as one of the subjects.

• Candidates should have been born on or after 1st July, 2002.

KIITEE 2026 Eligibility For BCA (5 years)

• Candidates should have cleared 10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks but Mathematics as one of the subjects in 10+2 level.

• Candidates should have been born on or after 1st July, 2002.

KIITEE 2026 Eligibility For Bachelor of Design (Fashion/Textile) (4 years)

• Candidates should have cleared 10+2 standard with 50% marks in aggregate in any stream.

• Candidates should have been born on or after 1st July, 2002.

KIITEE 2026 Eligibility For Bachelor of Film & Television Production (3 years)

• Candidates should've cleared 10+2 with 50% marks in aggregate in any stream.

• Candidates should have been born on or after 1st July, 2002.

KIITEE 2026 Eligibility for Master of Mass Communication (Integrated) (5 years)

• Candidates should have cleared 10+2 with 50% marks in aggregate in any stream.

• Candidates should have been born on or after 1st July, 2002.

KIITEE 2026 Eligibility For MCA (3 years)

• Candidates should have graduation degree with minimum 50% marks or equivalent in which Mathematics is a compulsory subject either in 10+2 standard or in graduation.

• Candidates should have been born on or after 1st July, 1997.

KIITEE 2026 Eligibility For MCA (L.E) (2 years)

• Candidates should have cleared or pursuing BCA, B.Sc. (IT/ Computer Science/IST/ITM) with minimum 50% marks from any recognised University.

• Candidates should have been born on or after 01st July, 1997.

KIITEE 2026 Eligibility For M.Tech (2 years)

• To take admission in M.Tech, candidates should have cleared in B.E. or B.Tech. or equivalent degree in respective branches of Engineering and Technology with a First Class or equivalent CGPA or First Class MCA/ First Class M.Sc. in (Comp/IT/ETC).

• Those candidates who have qualified GATE shall be accorded preference in the selection process. 

• Candidates who wish to get admission in M.Tech (2 years), should have studied B.E./B.Tech.in the same branch in which they are interested.

• GATE qualified candidates with a score of 400 or above, need not appear for KIITEE.

KIITEE 2026 Eligibility for M.Sc (Biotechnology/ Applied Microbiology) (2 years)

• Candidates should have an bachelor's degree in any of the following streams - Pharmacy/Science/ Veterinary/ Agriculture/ Engineering/ Technology / Medicine (MBBS/BDS) - with at least 55% marks.

• Candidates should have been born on or after 1st July 1996.

KIITEE 2026 Eligibility for M.Sc Nursing (2 years)

• Candidate should be a Registered midwife or registered nurse or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.

• Candidate should have passed B.Sc.Nursing/ B.Sc.Hons.Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates).

• The candidate should have undergone a B.Sc.Nursing/ B.Sc.Hons.Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc.Nursing in an institution, which is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council.

• Candidate should have minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing & should be medically fit.

KIITEE 2026 Eligibility For Master of Public Health (2 years)

• The candidate should have an undergraduate degree in any Health Science (BDS/BAMS/BPT/MBBS/BHMS BNYS/ B.Sc Nursing (Basic or Post Basic)/BPharm/) discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised university.

KIITEE 2026 Eligibility For Masters of Hospital Administration (2 years)

• The candidate should have a qualified undergraduate degree in BHMSBNYS/ BPT/ MBBS/ BDS/ B. Pharm/ BAMS/ B.Sc Nursing (Basic or Post Basic)/ B.Sc in Allied Health Sciences/ undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Commerce/Arts/Science/Law from a recognised university. 

KIITEE 2026 Eligibility for Integrated Dual Degree Msc. & PhD Programme (5 years) (Applied Physics/Applied Chemistry/Mathematics and Data Sciences)

• Candidates should have B.Tech./B.Sc./B.E. or an equivalent degree with at least 60% marks; students with an undergraduate degree with Physics/Mathematics/ Chemistry as one of the main subjects or engineering graduates with a strong aptitude for the above areas are eligible to apply. Candidates who are pursuing graduation can also apply.

KIITEE 2026 Eligibility For PhD

• Candidates should have an MCA/MBA/M.Tech/ME or equivalent Master's Degree with minimum 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA or M.Com/ LLM/ M.Sc./ MA or an equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks.

KIITEE 2026 Reservation Policy

The KIIT University offers reservation for candidates appearing for KIITEE 2026 who belongs to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Challenged. All the reserved category has a different reservation policy. Candidates belonging to each of the reserved categories must know the guidelines of each of the category. During counselling, candidates claiming reservation will have to produce certain documents in support of their claim.

At least 15% of the seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste category and 7.5% is reserved for Scheduled Tribes. The Physically Challenged candidates will have 3% reserved for the KIITEE 2026.
