AP Intermediate Grading System 2026 has been established by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP). As per the Manabadi AP Inter grading system 2026, students who score 91 marks or above will be awarded an A1 grade. The information about the grades that the students have achieved is included in the AP Inter Results 2026 published by the Andhra Pradesh Board. If you are not satisfied with the grades, then you have the option to apply for re-verification of the AP intermediate result. The students who fail to score 35% marks or more will also get the opportunity to appear for the AP intermediate supplementary Exam 2026 . The AP Intermediate supplementary exams will be conducted between May and June 2026. The compartment exam details will be presented by BIEAP shortly after the release of the results. AP Intermediate Grading System 2026
The grades are awarded to the students based on the number of marks that they have secured in the board exams. AP Intermediate Grading System includes grades ranging from A1 to F. Check the details related to the marks range and grade points from the table given below:

AP Intermediate Division System 2026
Students, depending on the marks they score in the BIEAP, will receive divisions by the Andhra Pradesh Board. The board will share the pass percentage of students who pass in Distinction, First division, Second division, and Third division in the AP Inter result 2026.

AP Intermediate Passing Marks 2026
To pass the AP Inter Exam 2026, students must secure a minimum of 35 marks in each subject and an overall aggregate of 35%. Each paper in the AP Inter 2nd Year exam carries a total of 100 marks. Students who receive an F grade are considered failed. These students can appear for the AP Inter supplementary exam 2026 in May 2026. As per the AP board pattern, 80% of the weightage is assigned to the final exam, while the remaining 20% is allotted to internal assessment. How to Calculate Percentage for AP Intermediate?
The total number of marks that the students have secured in each subject will be reflected in their results. Therefore, they can calculate their percentage by using a very simple formula as mentioned below:
- Step 1: Add all the number of marks that you have secured in the different subjects included in the curriculum.
- Step 2: Divide the sum by the number of subjects. The percentage will be calculated accordingly.
Therefore, Percentage = Sum of subject-wise marks/ Total number of subjects

In AP Inter 2nd Year exam, the maximum marks for each paper will be 100. 60 marks is allotted for theory and 40 for practicals. Students will have to score at least 35 marks in each paper and 35% in aggregate to clear the Andhra Pradesh Inter exam.
