AP SSC Grading System 2026 is set by the Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh. For a different range of marks, students are provided with different grades. Among all grades, A1 is the highest grade, and E is the lowest grade. How to Calculate AP SSC Grades using the AP SSC Marks 2026?
Students will get grade points according to the marks they receive.
- If a student secures 92 to 100 marks, they will get an A1 grade and 10 grade points.
- To calculate the grade points, students should add the marks achieved in all subjects and divide by the number of subjects. For instance, 8 + 9 + 8 + 8 + 7 + 8 = 48/6 = 8. According to the grade point, the student achieved a B1 grade.
How to Convert AP SSC CGPA into Marks?
To convert the AP SSC CGPA into marks, students can follow the simple steps mentioned below:- Multiply your CGPA by 9.5. By this, you will convert CGPA into a percentage.
- Now, you need to divide the percentage by 100.
- Multiply the result by the total marks secured in all subjects.
- The number you will receive is the total marks obtained.
For Instance: What will be a 9.4 CGPA in marks if Total Marks is 500?
- 9.4 x 9.5= 89.3%
- 89.3/ 100 =0.893
- 0.893 x 500 = 446.5

The Telangana Board conducts the AP SSC exams that follows different grading system, i.e the GPA system. The AP SSC grading system 2026 includes grades from A to E on the basis of marks scored by the students. All the subjects except Hindi are of 100 marks each and consists of two parts, each requiring a minimum of 18 marks for passing the exam.
The minimum pass marks that students need to obtain is 36 out of 100 which was earlier 35. Subjects that have two papers, students need to score 18 marks minimum in each paper (paper One and Paper Two). If anyone fails to score 18 marks will be considered fail.
The student getting less than 35% is considered a “Fail” according to the AP SSC Grading System 2026. However, you will be failing in Hindi only if you are getting less than 20 marks in the board exams because the grading system is different for Hindi.
To get an A1 grade in the AP SSC Grading System 2026, the students must be getting 92 to 100 marks for all the other subjects and 90 to 100 marks for Hindi. You must have 10 Grade Points.
