How to Select NLSAT 2026 Exam Centres?

You generally need to follow these steps during the application process to select NLSAT 2026 exam centres:

  • Visit the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) official admissions website, i.e., nls.ac.in.
  • Create a new account or use your current login information.
  • Provide your personal information, educational qualifications, and any other information requested on the application form.
  • You will be asked to select the NLSAT exam centres of your choice within the application form. You can select up to 3 cities, ranking them in order of preference (first to third).
  • Include scanned copies of the required documents, including your signature, a passport-sized photo, and any relevant certifications.
  • Now, pay the application fee using one of the multiple online payment methods (Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI).
  • Check all of the information on the application form carefully and submit it.
  • Once confirmed, download and keep a copy of the confirmation page for your records after submitting.

How to Change NLSAT 2026 Exam Centres?

Candidates will need to follow these below stated steps below to change the NLSAT 2026 exam centre:

  • Visit the official NLSAT portal, i.e., nlsatadmissions.nls.ac.in
  • Log in using your registered email ID and password.
  • Find the submitted application form on your dashboard, then click the "Edit" or "Modify" button.

NLSAT 2026 Exam Day Guidelines

The NLSAT exam is conducted in an offline, pen-and-paper format at designated centres across India. Here are the exam day guidelines that you need to follow:

  • Reach the exam venue per the reporting time. Those with disabilities will get an extra 50 minutes to take the test.
  • The entry to the exam centre will typically start at 9:15 AM onwards, if the exam timing is from 10 am to 12.30 pm. To know the exact time, refer to your NLSAT admit card.
  • Arrive at the NLSAT exam centre well in advance to complete verification and avoid disqualification due to late entry.
  • You cannot enter the examination room after 10:15 a.m.
  • Don’t forget to bring mandatory documents to the NLSAT exam centre with you, such as the Admit card and ID proof.
  • Your admit card and photo ID will be checked at the entry gate and at the verification desk inside the centre.
  • Bring only black or blue ballpoint pens as instructed. Highlighters and pencils are prohibited unless stated otherwise.
  • Work roughly only in the specified area. Question papers or answer sheets with stray marks might result in disqualification.
  • Examinees cannot leave the exam centre before the exam is over.
