WB ANM GNM Result 2026 – How is rank awarded?

Students must note that authorities do not release a separate WB ANM & GNM 2026 merit list. The rank on the GNM ANM Result 2026 will be divided into 2 parts: 

General Merit Rank

The general merit rank is printed in the name of the GMR, i.e., general merit rank. Its sequence is decided based on the marks scored by the aspirants. The ranking is sorted in descending order of marks scored. 

Category Rank

A separate reserved category merit list is provided in the WB ANM & GNM 2026 result for the respective category of students, eg, SC Rank, OBC-A Rank, ST Rank, PWD Rank, and OBC-B Rank as applicable. Sequencing orders for WB ANM & GNM 2026 counselling/allotment of seats will be based on General Merit Rank only and not on category ranks.

WBJEEB ANM GNM Counselling 2026
