Yes, the state board will pravide grace marks but will be limited to three subjects only, provided he/ she has passed in all other subjects of the semester exam. If anyone has failed in more than three subjects, he/ she will not be entitled to get any grace marks in any subject.
Grades will be awarded based on certain criteria, including students' performance in both semesters will be combined at the end of each year. To calculate a grade, average the grade points (GP) from each semester will be taken into consideration. For example, if a student secures an A in one semester and a C in other semester, their GP is 5 + 3 = 4, and their grade is B.
It is necessary for students to score a minimum of 33% marks. The students scoring between 33% to 40% will be awarded with the “G” grade. In addition, they will score 4 grade points.
