HPBOSE 10th Grading System 2026 includes nine grades. The Himachal Pradesh board has set the range of grades from A1 to E2. The board provides grades to students based on the marks scored in the subject, which includes the marks scored in practical as well as theory exams. Among all the grades, A1 is the highest grade provided to students on scoring between 91 to 100 marks. The students will have to score at least grade “D” to get the pass status. On scoring below 33 marks, students will be considered failed and provided with E1 and E2 grades. E1 will be provided on scoring marks between 21 to 32, and E2 will be given to students on scoring below 20 marks. HPBOSE 10th Grading System Grace Marks 2026

  • If the student is failing to achieve higher division due to some marks then he or she will be provided 1% of the total marks to improve the division as grace marks.
  • If you have already got grace marking in any subject then you will not be eligible for this clause.

HPBOSE 10th Revaluation or Rechecking

Students unsatisfied with their HPBOSE Class 10th Result 2026 can apply for rechecking or revaluation. To do so, they need to fill out the revaluation form and pay the required fee online through the official website: hpbose.org .

The fee for rechecking is Rs 400 per subject, while the revaluation of an answer sheet costs Rs 500 per subject. However, only students who have secured at least 20% marks in the respective subject are eligible to apply for rechecking or revaluation.

HPBOSE 10th Supplementary Exam 2026

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) conducts the HPBOSE 10th Compartment Exam 2026 for students who do not meet the passing criteria in the regular board exams. Candidates wishing to appear for the compartment exam must complete the registration process by the specified deadline to avoid any penalties.The registration must be done through the respective school authorities. A registration fee of Rs. 2000/- is required to complete the process. Students attending the compartment exam must carry their HPBOSE 10th Compartment Exam 2025 admit card to the examination hall. The HPBOSE 10th Compartment Result 2026 is expected to be released in August 2026 (tentative), and candidates can check their results online.
