ISC Class 12 Geography Exam Pattern 2025-26 is now uploaded on the official website of the CISCE. CISCE authorities have revised the exam pattern for Geography, so there are a few changes made in the syllabus as well. Both parts will include questions worth 35 marks each. Besides this, there will be an internal assessment or practical exam of 30 marks in which practical work, project work, and viva-voce are 10 marks each. The question paper will have 3 sections - A, B, and C. A total of 13 questions will be asked in the paper where section A will have very short answer-type questions of 1 mark. Section B will have short answer questions of 4 marks each and Section C will have long answer questions of 7 marks each. A total of 6 units are covered in the ISC Class 12 Geography Syllabus 2025-26 to be studied in detail by the students.
Students need to pass separately in both theory and practical exams to be considered for the passing certificate. They can take the help of the ISC Class 12 Geography Sample Paper 2025-26 to revise for the exams and to check out the format that will be followed by the authorities to create the board question paper. The latest sample papers will be uploaded on the official website of CISCE at cisce.org. ISC 12th Time Table 2026 has not yet been released. ISC Class 12 Geography Practical Blueprint 2025-26

ISC Class 12 Geography Paper Pattern 2025-26
Students must also have perfect ideas regarding the pattern that will be followed by CISCE to construct the question paper so that they get familiar exam pattern. Check the detailed paper pattern here:
- The duration of the paper is 3 hours.
- The question paper will have 9 printed pages and a map.
- The question paper will be divided into three sections.
- A total of 13 questions will be included in the question paper.
- The students must attempt all the questions.
- Section A has fourteen subparts which are very short answer questions. Each question carries 1 mark.
- Section B has seven questions which are short answer questions. Each question carries 4 marks.
- Section C has four questions which are long answer questions. Each question carries 7 marks.
- Internal choices have been provided in two questions in Section B and one question in Section C.
- Students are required to draw diagrams wherever necessary.
