ISC Class 12 Mathematics Exam Pattern 2025-26 is available on the official website cisce.org. The syllabus is divided into three sections: Section A, Section B, and Section C. Section A, which will carry 65 marks, is compulsory for all students. The choice will be given to attempt questions between Section B or Section C. Section A will cover 4 chapters, where Calculus will carry the highest marks weightage. Last year, some modifications were introduced in the ISC Class 12 Mathematics Blueprint, as per which, students will get more HOTS (High Order Thinking Skills) and critical thinking questions. The Council will conduct the ISC Class 12 Mathematics exam 2025 for 100 marks, out of which 80 marks will be allotted for the theory exam, and 20 marks will be based on the internal assessment. ISC Class 12 Mathematics Exam Pattern 2025-26

The ISC Class 12 Mathematics theory syllabus is divided into three sections: A, B, and C. Students must note that Section A is compulsory for all; however, they have a choice of attempting questions either from Section B or Section C. Check the ISC Class 12 Mathematics Blueprint 2025-26 here.

SECTION A: 65 MARKS

ISC Class 12 Mathematics Practical/Project Blueprint 2025-26

The ISC Class 12 Mathematics Practical Exam will be conducted for a total of 20 marks. CISCE will not set a paper for the ISC Class 12 Mathematics Practical Exam. Schools are responsible for preparing the papers. Candidates will be expected to complete two projects, one from Section A and another one from either Section B or Section C. The project work will be evaluated by the subject teacher and a Visiting Examiner appointed locally and approved by the Council. ISC Class 12 Mathematics Question Paper Pattern 2025-26

As per the ISC Class 12 Mathematics exam pattern, the theory paper will be conducted for a three-hour duration of 80 marks. Section A (65 Marks) will be compulsory for all students. In this section, there will be an internal choice for two questions for two marks, two questions for four marks, and two questions for six marks each. In Section B or Section C (15 Marks), students will have to attempt all questions either from Section B or Section C. An Internal choice will be given in a question of two marks and another question of four marks.
