The RBSE 12th Grading System 2026 is a nine-point scale grading system, with “A1” as the highest grade and “E2” as the lowest. The lowest grade one needs to secure to pass the RBSE Class 12th Board theory examination is a ‘D’. Important Points To Remember
- The total time allotted to complete each question paper will be 3 Hours (for All Languages and theory Subjects).
- The maximum marks for the Compulsory subjects i.e., 1st Language & 2nd Language, will be 100.
- English and Hindi are compulsory Subjects for the students of the Arts, Science, and Commerce Streams.
- The Elective Subjects ( Excluding PCB) would be judged on 80 marks.
- The Elective Subjects involving practicals will be assessed on 70 Marks and the practicals will hold 30 marks.
- The aggregate score of the five subjects will be taken into consideration.
RBSE 12th Passing Criteria 2026
To pass the Rajasthan 12th Board exams, a student requires a minimum of 33% marks in each subject as well as in aggregate. Only the students with at least 33% marks will be considered "passed" and awarded with a grade 'D'. Hence, it is necessary to secure a "D" grade to qualify for the RBSE 12th exams 2026. Students should note that they are required to score at least 33 marks out of 100 on the Language papers. In the subjects with practical exams, students require 23 marks out of 70. It will also be necessary to pass the practical exams. For Elective subjects ( without Practicals), the students need to score 26 marks out of 80. RBSE 12th Re-evaluation Criteria 2026
RBSE 12th Re-evaluation is a facility available for students who feel that they have been awarded fewer marks than what they were expecting. Such Students can avail of the Rajasthan Class 12th Re-evaluation 2026 facility by applying for Revaluation after making the payment of the required fees on the official website. The students can also apply for a Revaluation process from their respective schools. The details of the prescribed fee are given in the following table:

- The fee for the Revaluation is ₹300 per subject if the application is made within 7 days of the result declaration. The application fee for Revaluation will be ₹600 per subject after 7 days of result declaration. But the Students should make sure to apply before the 10-day lapse, after the result declaration.
- An ID proof is to be uploaded while applying for a Revaluation of the results.
- After receiving the Revaluation application, RBSE will initiate the process of result revaluation and consequently, the final result will be released online.

Once the RBSE 12th Result is announced and students are unsatisfied with the grades scored, they can apply for revaluation of the result. If there is an increase in marks, the grades will be upgraded and the result will reflect in the marksheet.
As per the RBSE 12th Grading System 2026, “D” is the minimum grade required to get the pass status. On scoring marks between 33 to 40, students will be provided with this grade.
