is set by the Tamil Nadu board which includes eight grades ranging from A1 to E1. The grades are similar for each stream - Science, Commerce and Arts. Tamil Nadu Class 12 Exam Pattern 2026
There is a specific exam pattern that will be followed by DGE Tamil Nadu to conduct the board examination. Students can refer to the basic information about the exam pattern and the type of papers that will be conducted for the various languages and other subjects included in the curriculum here:
- Part 1 will consist of the language paper. There are different languages included in the curriculum such as Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Urdu, Sanskrit, Arabic, French, and German.
- Part 2 is the compulsory English language paper.
