TS Inter Grading System 2026 uses four-point grading system where A is the highest grade and D is the lowest, representing failure in TS Inter exam 2026. Among all the grades, A is the highest grade provided on scoring above 75% marks. The grades will be visible in the results released by the board online. You will have to score at least a grade D to get the pass status. On scoring at least 350 marks, you will be awarded the D grade. If you score less than 350, you will fail the exam, and no grade will be provided. The grades will be provided based on the TS intermediate BIPC total marks subject-wise. The TS Inter grading system 2026 is based on aggregate marks from both 1st year (Class 11th) and 2nd year (Class 12th), totaling 1000 marks across subjects. The grading system will be similar for both board exams and compartment exams.

TSBIE revised the TS Inter Time Table 2026. The Telangana Board Examinations are being conducted at the end of the first year and the second year on 500 marks each time. Therefore, the final result is prepared based on the aggregate score out of 1000 marks, and the grades are conferred accordingly. Broadly, the Telangana Board Grading System 2026 is a four-point scale grading system. The system is quite simple and easy to understand. TS Inter Percentage Calculation 2026

You can easily calculate the percentage using the TS Intermediate Grading System 2026. You have to add the grade points for the five subjects you will appear for and then divide the sum by 5. Now multiply the sum by 9.5. For instance, let us assume a student obtained the following grade points for the five subjects in the TS Inter exam:

Subject 3: 8
Subject 4: 7
Subject 5: 9

  • Therefore, the total is 40.
  • Now, add the grade points, i.e 9+9+8+7+9=40
  • Then, divide the sum by 5, 40/5 = 8
  • Therefore, the CGPA secured is 8.0

TS Inter Passing Criteria 2026

The minimum marks a student needs to score in each subject as well as in aggregate, to pass the Telangana Board Exam 2026, is 35 %. This means that a total of at least 350 marks out of 1000 would indicate the pass status in the report card.
