Maharashtra HSC Revaluation 2026 Guidelines
A rule book is uploaded by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education for revaluation services. Given below are some major guidelines to consider before applying for revaluation:
- You can apply for revaluation only for the theory papers and not for practical or internal assessment.
- You can apply for revaluation only for a maximum of 6 subjects.
- To apply for revaluation, first, the photocopy of the answer book must be checked by the concerned subject teacher using the model answers and marking scheme uploaded online, and then an online application in the prescribed format on the official website must be submitted along with the teacher’s written remarks and the signature and stamp of the Headmaster / Principal. If the subject teacher does not have the model answers or marking scheme, the Divisional Board should be contacted.
- For subjects having two papers/parts, the student must get photocopies of both papers/parts checked by the subject teacher and apply for re-evaluation with remarks for both. Re-evaluation for only one paper/part will not be allowed.
- After completing the online application, the student must scan and upload the subject-teacher’s remarks with the Headmaster’s / Principal’s signature and stamp.
- Once an answer sheet has been re-evaluated, the student cannot again request re-verification, re-evaluation, or photocopies for that answer sheet.
- For objective-type questions (such as fill in the blanks, match the pairs, choose the correct option, true or false, etc.), any increase or decrease in marks after re-evaluation will be accepted as it is.
- For all questions other than objective ones, if the total marks in the subject change by at least five per cent more or less than the original marks, the revised marks will be accepted. If the change is less than five per cent, no change will be made, and the student will be informed as “No Change,” and no fee will be refunded. However, for subjects in which 90% or more marks were originally obtained, the five-per cent condition will be relaxed, and whatever increase or decrease occurs will be given.
- In the case of a student who has failed, if after re-evaluation there is no change in the original result or the student still does not pass, even if there is a change of five per cent or more, the original result will be maintained and “No Change” will be reported, and no fee will be refunded.
- No new updates or doubts will be entertained after the revaluation result is finalised.
Make sure to obtain the teacher's remark as soon as possible and uploaded online in a PDF format with a size below 15 MB. Keep track of the deadline and submit the applications accurately since no new changes will be allowed to be made in the application form.
